Our Beer Garden in the Eifel: Kiosk with Outdoor Terrace

Our Mühlenkiosk beer garden offers a variety of drinks, ice cream and treats from the Eifel region. Our large outdoor terrace is just the right place to relax and enjoy a beer from the Eifel or a delicious snack.

What we offer:

  • Dumplings from LouRiz with various delicious fillings (e.g., porcini mushroom, beef & fiery tomato, wild garlic (only in season), pecorino fig), tossed either in basil butter or in tomato sauce, and served with cocktail tomatoes and parmesan.

  • Bockwurst from the Landmetzgerei Josef Schneider with handmade "Swabian-Rhenish" potato salad

  • French fries

  • Pasta with tomato sauce

  • Belgian waffles with or without cream

  • Freshly made cake

Popsicles from Sicily: Free of Artificial Flavors or Additives

We’ve got the best-tasting popsicles in the most delicious flavors made by Stecco Natura, an ice cream manufacturer from Sicily, Italy. Made only from the very best ingredients and precious raw materials, selected with love and free of any artificial flavors and additives, this fine product of traditional Sicilian craftsmanship is sure to delight young and old.

Drinks

  • Coffee (organic & fair trade), tea, hot lemon

  • Beer: Benediktiner Hefeweizen, Eifeler Landbier, Mühlenkölsch, Bitburger (Stubbi, Radler or alcoholic-free)

  • Proviant Apple & Rhubarb Spritzer, Mischmasch, Gerolsteiner soda, cola.

And if you want a full case, just ask us and we'll haul one up from the basement for you.

Fresh Bread and Bread Rolls: Warm from The Bakery and Straight into Your Rucksack

Want some freshly baked bread or bread rolls for your breakfast or hiking trip? No problem! Just place your order with us the day before and we’ll deliver your freshly baked order the next  morning, warm and steaming straight from the Eifel bakery Jenniches in Rescheid

We receive our orders every morning latest by 8 a.m. You can just pick it up at the Mühlenkiosk.

Our bread and bread rolls are freshly baked with love every day by Bäckerei Jenniches, and they’re a real Eifel treat!

We also offer:

  • A wheelbarrow of wood for 15 €

  • Shower tokens for 1.50 € / 6 minutes

Our tip for barbeque meats & sausages:

The best place to buy meat is at one of the traditional butcher shops in Hellenthal: Metzgerei Brauers (open Fridays till 6 p.m., Saturdays till 4 p.m.) or Landmetzgerei Josef Schneider (open Fridays till 6 p.m., Saturdays till 1 p.m.).
